Upon being motivated to write a poem on Christmas

JESUS

He slept in a manger that night all alone,
Like a stranger in a world that was his own.

He slept in a manger that night all alone,
Like a stranger looked at with scorn.


NB: I was motivated to write this poem after attending a Christmas Church Service at Chitakale CCAP Church in Mulanje, Malawi.
